My Magnolia Tree is all about family and the ways in which we learn from, grow from and celebrate our roots. I’m a former journalist and I’ve always had a fascination with genealogy and family life. Over the years, my career evolved but I always came back to writing. As a stay-at-home mom of 2, writing became something that I had very little time to concentrate on. While I love taking care of my daughters, I grew to miss sharing my thoughts and inspiration through writing.  I started this blog because I wanted to one day introduce my daughters to the woman that I was before they made me a mother and the ways that they have enriched my life. It is my prayer that they will one day look back on my little piece of the Internet and see just how much their mother loved them and the life that she created with them.
